The vision for Henderson County Public Schools is for every student to achieve success and graduate as a life-long learner, globally competitive, prepared for career, college, and life. Our schools continue to have one of the highest graduation rates in North Carolina with a low and declining dropout rate. SAT and ACT scores continue to be above the state and national averages and students here excel in many extracurricular areas such as band, chorus, and athletics.
Our county also has a number of public Charter Schools as well as private schools.
